Roger Pashby's The Huddersfield Town Collection
Welcome to "the best source of Huddersfield Town memorabilia on the internet!"
Please also visit my 'sister' website, 'The Pinnace Collection', where I have painstakingly reproduced my collection of some of the 2000+ cards issued by Godfrey Phillips in the 1920s, many of which feature Town players.

"It's more than just cigarette and trade cards; it's the best source of Town memorabilia on the internet!"
I am proud to run this site to display my collection, but I also know that a lot of people use it as a source of reference. If you enjoy your visit, or if you use any of my images, you could make a donation through PayPal, which will be used to help fund new acquisitions.
If you do choose to donate, thank you.
ASK any football fan to name the clubs who have won the League Championship three times in a row and he - or she! - will quite cheerfully guess his (or her) way through Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United; but ask again - who won it three times in a row for the very first time? It will be a knowledgeable fan indeed who will be able to name Huddersfield Town! But it is a fact that from 1924 to 1926, Huddersfield Town were at the pinnacle of the English Football League.
Indeed, they were also runners-up for the following two seasons, had won the Cup in 1922 and were finalists in 1920, 1928, 1930 and again in 1938! So it is even more galling to find them in their current situation outside the 'Promised Land' of the English Premier League. The years since the heady days of the 1920s have seen Town leapfrog around the divisions spending the majority in sorry disarray in the wilderness that is life outside the top flight. And with the club now beyond its centenary season it is hoped that Town will soon head back towards the loftier perches of the English League pyramid but until then, I hope that this website may suffice to recall the successes of a happier, bygone age.
Created in 2006 ostensibly to display my collection of Huddersfield Town cigarette and trade cards, the emphasis of this site is still most certainly on those cards, but I have diversified to include other elements of my increasingly vast collection. The 2016 re-launch has allowed a re-branding so that the site now goes under the name of 'THE HUDDERSFIELD TOWN COLLECTION', which I feel more accurately describes the eclectic content. I am also endeavouring to add more commentary with each item together with catalogue or market value, although this, of course, will change over time so they should only be used as guides. I am also now adding a 'watermark' to the more 'desirable' items on this site so that unscrupulous eBay dealers don't rip them off and sell copies!
Another important thing worth mentioning is that as this site is a 'work-in-progress' there will be constant additions as and when I acquire them and all of these will be announced in the Updates section. You may also find that certain items flit from one date section to another and for this I am indebted to Alan Jenkins' Football Cartophilic Information Exchange website for providing me with accurate issue dates for many of these cards, so be warned - dates on my site can change from day to day, or even from hour to hour!
Oh, and before you ask, NONE of the items on this website is for sale; they are all part of my collection and will not be parted with ... except those in the FOR SALE section.
Hail Town! Thrice Champions!!!
